What we store
We store your test responses (including which specific answer you gave to each question, not just a summary score) and the trait/ category scores computed from them, tied to your account. These make up your unified profile. We also record, per test attempt, a small set of data-quality signals (e.g. answering unusually fast, or picking the same answer position over and over) — these are stored and always shown to you like any other result; they only affect whether that attempt is included in the aggregate statistics below.
How we use it
Beyond showing your own profile back to you, we compute population-level statistics (e.g. correlations between trait dimensions) across users who have taken multiple tests. These statistics are aggregate — they are never published, and never reference or expose which specific individuals share which pattern. Your own profile may be used to generate personalized, plain-language insights that reference these aggregate patterns. That narration is constrained to describing trait-level patterns — it will not make predictions or claims about your real-world behavior, decisions, relationships, career, health, or other life outcomes.
Analytics and session replay
When enabled, PostHog helps us understand page visits, performance, errors, and how people navigate the app through session replay. Recordings mask text and form inputs and block images and charts. We do not send your account identity, test answers, chat messages, or identifying URL values as analytics properties. Analytics use a random browser-session identifier. You can turn analytics and replay off for this browser below without limiting any part of the app.
AWS CloudWatch collects operational logs and service metrics to help us diagnose failures and monitor availability.
Analytics and session replay are off in this browser.
We also respect your browser's Do Not Track setting.
Your control
Inclusion in the aggregate statistics described above is on by default and can be turned off at any time from Settings. Turning it off does not limit any part of the app.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. This permanently deletes your responses, scores, and generated insights. Aggregate statistics that were already computed across the population are not personally identifiable and are not retroactively altered, but your data stops contributing to them going forward.
